Satellite images have confirmed the complete destruction of Ayatollah Khamenei's residence in Iran
The residence of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, located in Tehran, has been completely destroyed. This is evidenced by aerial photographs taken from the air.
Satellite images obtained by Airbus Defence and Space and provided to The New York Times confirm the complete destruction of the structure.
The building was struck during airstrikes carried out by the Israeli Air Force. According to available information, A. Khamenei himself was not injured — he was evacuated to a safe location in advance.
In addition to the Supreme Leader's residence, the targets of the strikes also included the headquarters of the Ministry of Intelligence and the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic, the building of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in Tehran, as well as a number of other strategic command centers.
