Rustem Pasha from "The Magnificent Century" received a prison sentence

The actor who played Rustem Pasha in the Turkish series "Magnificent Century" Ozan Güven received a prison sentence for domestic violence.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is according to Hürriyet.
The 50-year-old actor was given two years and three months of imprisonment.
In 2020, Güven's ex-partner Deniz Bulutsuz filed a police report about brutal treatment by her partner.
Ozan Güven denied the accusations against him and filed a counter-lawsuit against the woman, accusing her of assault and defamation.
After a psychological examination conducted on Deniz Bulutsuz, the court sided with the woman and sentenced the actor to actual imprisonment, rejecting his counter-lawsuit. Güven's lawyers are preparing to file an appeal.
The "Magnificent Century" star was facing up to 13 years in prison. After the accusations, he led a reclusive lifestyle, not using a car, motorcycle, or the help of household workers.
