Rubio said when the military operation against Iran will end
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated during phone conversations with the foreign ministers of Arab countries that the military operation against Iran could last for several more weeks.
This was reported by Axios, citing sources familiar with the negotiations.
Rubio informed the partners that the military's primary focus is currently on Iranian missile launchers, stockpiles, and factories. The Secretary of State also noted that regime change in Iran is not the primary goal of the United States, but indicated that Washington wants to see different people in power in the country.
In addition, Rubio spoke about the lack of dialogue between the U.S. and Iranian authorities. According to him, any negotiations could undermine the current military objectives.
