Report on the AZAL airliner crash will be published after the New Year

Final results of the investigation into the crash of Embraer 190 aircraft of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) near Aktau may only be published after the New Year.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to RIA Novosti, this was announced by Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev.
"Such a standard timeframe is when an investigation takes about a year, or maybe a little longer," he said, noting that all relevant work is currently in progress.
The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized that the commission is working in accordance with international standards and is thoroughly analyzing all circumstances of the incident. In August, Bozumbayev had already stated plans to present the final report within a few months. According to his information, one of the key elements - the avionics module block - was sent for examination to the United States, where technical research is being conducted.
