Russian President Vladimir Putin participated via video conference in the opening of the Azerbaijan State Musical Drama Theater in Derbent (Republic of Dagestan) after renovation.
As reported by TASS, the ceremony was timed to coincide with World Theatre Day.
Opening the theater, the Russian leader congratulated everyone who is in one way or another connected with this part of culture — from directors to audiences — on International Theatre Day.
