Putin and Erdogan began negotiations on the sidelines of the SCO summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
This is reported by Russian media.
Putin and Erdogan are expected to discuss various international issues and bilateral cooperation.
Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov also suggested that the issue of Ukraine would be discussed.
"Ukraine will certainly be discussed," he said, noting Ankara's role in seeking a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict.
In addition, the aide expressed confidence that the situation in the Middle East, the Caucasus, and other regions would be discussed.
He reminded that this would be the first personal meeting between Putin and Erdogan this year.
