Protesters in Tehran destroy police cars: footage of the confrontation

In Tehran, against the backdrop of ongoing protest actions, demonstrators are causing significant damage to law enforcement vehicles.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Iranian media, several police cars were set on fire or completely disabled in various areas of the city.

It is reported that the incidents occur predominantly in the evening hours. Protesters erect barricades in the streets, attack police vehicles with stones and other objects. In some cases, incidents of overturning and setting cars on fire have been recorded.

It is worth noting that protests in Iran have significantly intensified in recent days against the backdrop of deteriorating socio-economic situation, devaluation of the national currency, and dissatisfaction with government policies. Mass riots and armed clashes are observed not only in Tehran but also in several other cities across the country.
