President of Pakistan urgently hospitalized
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari was urgently taken to a private hospital in Karachi after his condition worsened.
This is reported by Pakistani media.
According to the Pakistan People's Party, Zardari is currently undergoing treatment, and necessary medical examinations are being conducted to assess his condition. Security measures around the hospital have been strengthened: law enforcement agencies have restricted unauthorized access to the facility's territory.
It should be noted that the day before his hospitalization, the president participated in prayers celebrating Eid al-Fitr at his residence in Nawabshah, accompanied by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ghulam Mustafa Shah.
At the moment, no official statements about his health condition have been issued.
Recall that in 2024, during a private visit to the UAE, he suffered a leg fracture while exiting an airplane in Dubai.
