President of Iran confirmed the death of the intelligence minister

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed the death of the country's Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib.

He wrote about this on the social network X.

"The cowardly assassination of my dear colleagues Ismail Khatib, Ali Larijani, and Aziz Nasirzadeh, as well as some of their family members and those accompanying them, has plunged us into grief," the statement reads.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that Iran's Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib was killed in a strike on the night of March 18.
