Obese People Will Be Less Often Admitted to the USA
White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly confirmed the introduction of restrictions on issuing tourist visas to people with certain health problems,
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Politico, visas will be restricted for citizens suffering from obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases.
"For the past 100 years, State Department policy has provided the ability to deny applicants who could potentially become a financial burden on taxpayers," she noted.
Kelly also emphasized that the US presidential administration puts the interests of Americans "first." New guidelines allow denying entry to those who may need government medical assistance in the future.
