New conditions have been put forward for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz

Iran has announced a set of conditions that the United States must fulfill for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

This was reported by Iranian state media. According to their reports, the conditions were voiced by a senior Iranian national security official. Among Tehran's demands are the lifting of the maritime blockade by the United States, the withdrawal of American troops, and a definitive end to the war.

At the same time, Iran and Oman stated that they are close to reaching an agreement on the management of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The parties are working on resolving the situation at this waterway, which is of critical importance for global energy supplies.

According to CNN sources, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine has also stated in closed-door meetings the need to find a way out of the war with Iran. In his view, military steps that could lead to further escalation of the conflict may backfire on the United States.

It should be noted that alongside this, Iranian state media released an undated video of the country's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
