New Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and IRGC Commander appointed

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Ali Khamenei appointed Habibollah Sayari as the interim head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Defense of the IRI.

Also, Major General Ahmad Vahidi has been appointed as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Earlier, information appeared about the death of the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the IRI Mohammad Bagheri as a result of Israel's attack on the Iranian capital. As a result of Israeli attacks, the commander-in-chief of Iran's IRGC, Major General Hossein Salami, was killed.
