The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has decided to close the Information Center on NATO and European Union issues from July 1.
As reported by kommersant.ru, its functions will be transferred to the department of the same name operating within the structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself. This was announced by the ministry's representative Temo Sukashvili.
The NATO and EU Information Center was established in 2005 by decree of the then President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili as a separate institution.
