Australia, Brazil, and Greece topped the ranking of the most promiscuous countries in the world, compiled by the analytical resource World Population Review. The study evaluated data from 45 countries, based on which the so-called international index of sexual promiscuity was calculated.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Greek Reporter, the ranking took into account six key factors: the average number of sexual partners, the age of first sexual contact, the legality of prostitution, social acceptance of premarital relations, as well as the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases.

Australia was recognized as the most "promiscuous" country based on the combination of indicators. On average, residents of this country have 13.3 sexual partners, and the first sexual contact occurs at the age of about 17.9 years. Brazil and Greece shared second place: in Brazil, the average number of partners is about nine, and in Greece - 10.6.

The top ten ranking also included Chile, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, and South Africa.
