More than 1500 Russians are stranded in Turkey due to canceled flights to Moscow

More than 1500 Russian citizens found themselves in a difficult situation in Turkey after Turkish airlines canceled flights to Moscow.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Mash Telegram channel, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines canceled 31 flights to and from Moscow scheduled for May 8, as well as eight overnight flights that were supposed to take place on May 9.
It is noted that passengers of four flights who were unable to fly to Moscow were accommodated in five-star hotels with meals provided.
On May 8, Rosaviatsia (Russian Federal Air Transport Agency) reported that the situation with Turkish Airlines and other foreign airlines is expected to stabilize in the near future.
