Melania Trump Appeals to Congress Regarding the Epstein Case
US First Lady Melania Trump stated that the American Congress must take action to reveal all details concerning the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of child molestation.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was reported by TASS.
"Now it is time for Congress to take action. Epstein did not act alone. Several prominent male leaders have left key positions after this case received widespread political attention," she emphasized, speaking at the White House. "This, of course, does not mean they are guilty. But we must still work [...] to uncover the truth."
"I urge Congress to hold public hearings dedicated exclusively to the women who suffered from Epstein's actions," the US First Lady explained, noting that it is necessary to "provide these women with the opportunity to testify under oath before Congress."
According to Melania Trump, "all these women should have the opportunity to publicly share what happened, if they wish," and their testimonies should be "entered into the record" of the American legislative body's proceedings. "Then and only then will we know the truth," she emphasized.
