Media: Trump is studying the possibility of resuming operations in the Strait of Hormuz
US President Donald Trump stated that he is considering the possibility of resuming Operation "Project Freedom," and in a broader format than simply escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
The American leader admitted in an interview with Fox News that he has not yet made a final decision on the matter.
The US launched Project Freedom to organize the transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz on May 4, but the following day the American president announced its temporary suspension. He indicated that he agreed to pause at the request of Pakistan and several other countries in light of peace negotiations with Iran.
