Media: Russia struck SOCAR oil depot in Odesa region, there are wounded
Russia attacked an oil depot of the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR in the Odesa region with "Shahed" drones on the night of August 8. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out and a diesel fuel pipeline was damaged.
Sources in law enforcement agencies reported this to RBC-Ukraine.
According to the sources, the fire was quickly contained. As a result of the enemy attack, four employees received serious injuries and were provided with emergency medical care.
The extent of the damage is currently being determined. Urgent restoration work is underway.
Sources note that the official investigation data has not yet been released, but the localization of five guided drone strikes clearly indicates that the oil depot was the main target of the attack.
In response to a request from Oxu.Az, Socar Energy Ukraine stated that due to martial law in the country, they cannot comment on incidents related to critical infrastructure.
