Media: Ramzan Kadyrov's son transported to Moscow after serious traffic accident in Grozny
An aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, which presumably had on board Adam, the son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, landed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport on the night of Saturday, January 17. Ramzan Kadyrov's own plane, presumably flying from Dubai, followed directly behind it.
According to the FlightRadar service, the specialized An-148-100-EM of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations landed at Vnukovo at 01:10 Moscow time (02:10 Baku time - ed.). The plane departed from the Chechen capital on Friday evening at 19:37 Moscow time (20:37 Baku time - ed.), covering the distance to the Russian capital about half an hour faster than a regular scheduled flight.
As previously reported by "Caucasus.Realities," 18-year-old Adam Kadyrov was involved in a serious accident in Grozny, after which he was taken unconscious to the intensive care unit of the new republican hospital.
According to preliminary information, the vehicles from Adam Kadyrov's motorcade were moving at high speed when they suddenly collided with an obstacle. As a result, a chain accident occurred - cars began to crash into each other.
A source from "Caucasus.Realities" claims that other victims of the accident were also taken to the republican hospital in Grozny, but the exact number of victims and the severity of their injuries is not specified. Among the injured may also be the son of another high-ranking Chechen leader, whose name is not mentioned.
According to the publication's source, it was the son of the Chechen leader who was behind the wheel of the first vehicle in the motorcade. The vehicle was moving at an extremely high speed. According to preliminary data, the driver lost control, and the car crashed into a barrier.
Before being transported to Moscow, Adam Kadyrov, according to another source, regained consciousness while still at Grozny airport. It was specified that the victim's condition "did not cause concern among medical professionals."
No official comments have been received from the Chechen authorities or the Kadyrov family at this time.
