French President Emmanuel Macron posted a video on his TikTok page from the G7 summit featuring the Russian song "Capybara" by Moscow-based Alexei Pluzhnikov.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Gazeta.ru, the footage shows world leaders walking onto the stage one by one for a photo opportunity, with the "Capybara" composition playing over the video.
The song by musician "Sto-Lichniy Ona-Nas," whose real name is Alexei Pluzhnikov, was released in 2022 and soon went viral on social media, becoming popular for use in short videos. The track garnered more than 2 million views on YouTube without advertising, and on music services, "Capybara" was in the top 200 for listening in 28 countries for a long time.
