King of Great Britain Charles III made a statement about his battle with cancer
Early cancer diagnosis had a positive impact on the treatment course.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by King Charles III of Great Britain. He emphasized that timely examinations can save thousands of lives.
"I can share good news with you: thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention, and following doctor's prescriptions, my own cancer treatment schedule may be reduced in the new year," he said in a video message on The Royal Family YouTube channel.
The King noted that about 9 million Britons do not undergo current screenings, missing the chance for early disease detection. He expressed gratitude to doctors, nurses, researchers, and volunteers involved in diagnostic and treatment programs, emphasizing that compassion must be combined with concrete actions, and urged everyone to check their eligibility for examinations to protect their own lives and those of their loved ones.
"I know from my own experience that a cancer diagnosis can seem overwhelming. However, early detection is the key that can change the course of treatment, providing invaluable time for medical teams and their patients, a precious gift of hope," he emphasized.
