Kim Jong Un demonstrated new "most powerful weapon in the world"

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un unveiled new missile systems intended for "strategic use" ahead of a rare party congress.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing Bloomberg, according to the Korean Central News Agency, the country has prepared 50 600-millimeter multiple launch rocket systems for the ninth congress of the Workers' Party.

"These systems possess high accuracy and power comparable to precision-guided ballistic missiles. This is a focused-strike weapon, one of the most powerful in the world," noted Kim Jong Un, according to North Korean specialists.

According to the publication, the demonstration took place as delegates arrived at the party congress, which is being held for the first time in five years. Global analysts are closely monitoring the event to assess Kim Jong Un's priorities in defense and domestic policy direction for the coming years. During the congress, a new five-year economic plan is expected to be presented, and possible personnel changes in the country's leadership may be announced.
