The Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov made an unexpected statement about his intention to leave his current position. He gave the corresponding comment to the news agency "Chechnya Today".

In his statement, Kadyrov responded to rumors circulating in the information space about a possible resignation. "I myself am asking to be relieved of my position. Someone else will have their own initiatives, their own vision. I hope that my request will be supported," said the head of the republic.

Notably, in his comment, Kadyrov did not specify to whom exactly he is addressing his request to be relieved of his duties. The head of Chechnya also touched on the topic of a possible successor to his post.

It is worth noting that earlier Ramzan Kadyrov had already refuted rumors about health problems, emphasizing that the internet regularly attributes various illnesses to him.
