IRGC: Henceforth, US and Israeli universities in West Asia are considered legitimate targets

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that US and Israeli universities in the West Asia region are henceforth considered legitimate targets, Tasnim reports.

The reason for this statement was strikes on Iranian universities, including the University of Science and Technology in Tehran, which the IRGC described as repeated attacks on the country's educational infrastructure.

"The short-sighted rulers of the White House should know that from now on, all universities of the 'occupying regime,' as well as American universities in the West Asia region, will be considered legitimate targets for us until strikes are carried out on two universities in retaliation for the destroyed Iranian universities," the IRGC stated.

The IRGC also advised staff, faculty, and students of American educational institutions in the region, as well as residents of nearby areas, to maintain a distance of at least one kilometer from such facilities.

Additionally, the statement says that the US has been offered until 12:00 PM on March 30, Tehran time, to officially condemn the strikes on universities. Otherwise, the announced threats may be carried out.
