American leader Donald Trump claims that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has appealed to the US administration with a request for a ceasefire.
"The President of the new regime in Iran, far less radical and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a ceasefire," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
"We will consider [this request] when the Strait of Hormuz is open, free, and clear," the American leader noted. According to him, until then the US intends to continue striking Iran.
