Iran's Armed Forces have restored military control over the Strait of Hormuz
Iran's armed forces have restored control over the Strait of Hormuz due to the blockade by the United States.
As reported by the Mehr agency, this was announced by the spokesperson of the central headquarters of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.
"Control over the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous state, this strategically important strait is under the strict control of the armed forces," the statement said.
The headquarters emphasized that as long as the United States does not stop obstructing the passage of Iranian vessels, "the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain under strict control."
