In China, a rapper stopped his concert to help a female audience member catch a rapist

A young Chinese rapper paused his concert in Hangzhou to help a female audience member catch a sexual offender, reports South China Morning Post.

A woman in the audience tried to get the musician's attention, reporting that an unknown man had harassed her. Due to the loud music, the rapper didn't hear her immediately, so he passed her the microphone. Through the microphone, the audience member explained that a stranger had "discharged" on her leg, and described his appearance: gray clothes, overweight, greasy hair, and about the same height as her.

The musician responded to the situation and instructed the staff to close the club doors and check the surveillance camera footage. The audience supported his decision with thunderous applause. The rapper assured the woman that either he or the police would ensure the attacker's detention, and suggested she continue enjoying the concert.

Hangzhou police later reported that a 25-year-old man with the surname Luo was arrested that same evening at his home. The artist later noted that the attacker had managed to leave the venue before police arrived, but they were able to track him down using security cameras and videos taken by audience members. The musician praised the victim for her courage and emphasized the importance of women standing up for their rights and preserving evidence.
