IDF: Tehran has lost protection, Iran's capital is open to Israeli attacks
Israeli military forces successfully suppressed air defense systems in western Iran and in the Tehran area, which gave the Israeli Air Force complete freedom of action in the airspace over the Iranian capital.
This was reported by the official representative of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Brigadier General Efi Defrin during a press briefing.
According to the general, more than 70 Israeli Air Force aircraft participated in the night operation, striking strategic targets in Tehran while neutralizing local air defense systems.
"The road to Tehran is paved. We attacked more than 40 targets: missiles and advanced air defense systems throughout Tehran, as well as launchers and control centers," said Defrin. "Tehran is no longer protected. The capital is vulnerable to Israeli strikes," emphasized the IDF representative.
