Hegseth: Tomorrow the US will deliver the most powerful strike against Iran in the entire history of the war

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth promised that on Tuesday the US would deliver the most powerful strikes against Iran since the beginning of the military operation.

He stated this at a press conference with American leader Donald Trump at the White House.

"Today will be the largest number of airstrikes since the very first day of operations in the Middle East at the direction of the President of the United States, and tomorrow — even more than today," the head of the Pentagon said.

According to him, American troops are ready to go anywhere, at any time, to protect the country's interests and accomplish the assigned mission.

"Then Iran will have a choice. Choose wisely, because the President (Trump — ed.) is not joking. We are acting precisely. We control the skies," Hegseth emphasized.

Earlier at the same press conference, Trump stated that the US could destroy Iran completely overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday if Tehran does not unblock the Strait of Hormuz by that time.
