For the demolished restaurant "Sheki" an astronomical sum was paid
In the Narimanov district of Baku, the popular restaurant "Sheki" was demolished, and its owner received compensation in the amount of 14 million manats.
This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the globalinfo.az portal.
The demolition of the establishment was connected with a large-scale reconstruction of the road infrastructure in the area, in particular - with the elimination of the roundabout at the intersection of Hassan Aliyev and Ahmed Rajabli streets and the construction of a vehicle tunnel in this section.
According to the source, when processing the documents, the compensation amount was indicated significantly lower than what was actually paid. Currently, the restaurant owner has begun construction of a new establishment with the same name in the Mardakyan settlement.
Also, we remind you that as part of the same reconstruction in the Narimanov district, another well-known restaurant - "Shusha" - was demolished. Its owner reported that he received compensation in the amount of 3 million manats, however, he expressed dissatisfaction with the payment amount.
