First HIV vaccine with one hundred percent protection presented

In the United States, Yeztugo has been introduced - the world's first HIV vaccine providing almost one hundred percent protection against the virus, reports Mash.
The uniqueness of the development lies in its ease of use - the vaccine needs to be administered only twice a year. The drug has successfully passed two stages of clinical trials involving seven thousand volunteers, demonstrating impressive effectiveness of 99-100%.
"The vaccine works as a 'biological condom' - completely blocking virus transmission even during questionable contacts. According to the developers, this will help stop the epidemic. The drug took almost 20 years to create. It will enter the US market by the end of the year, and may soon appear in other countries - documents are already being prepared," the publication states.
Unlike existing prevention methods that require daily pill intake or injections every few months, the new vaccine represents the most long-lasting and reliable form of protection against HIV infection.
