Explosion in "Scarlet Sails" Residential Complex in Moscow Was Carried Out by Armenian Citizen

A powerful explosion occurred in the elite residential complex "Scarlet Sails" in the northwest of the capital, claiming the life of Armen Sarkisyan, a well-known founder of a volunteer battalion in the DPR.

According to RIA Novosti, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, a suicide bomber may be behind the terrorist attack.

The investigation has established that the suspected perpetrator of the terrorist attack is a previously convicted citizen of Armenia. The tragedy unfolded on Monday morning on Aviatsionnaya Street, where an explosive device was detonated in the elevator lobby of a high-rise building.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal case under several articles, including "Preparation for crime and attempted crime," "Murder," and "Illegal trafficking of explosives or explosive devices."
