European leaders called Trump after his conversation with Putin

Leaders of several European countries, including France, spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump after his two-hour conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron while speaking at the Choose France investment conference in Versailles.

"I apologize for keeping you waiting, but several European colleagues and I had a telephone conversation with President Trump after his talks with President Putin," Macron said.

He did not provide details of the conversation with Trump.
