Emergency warning issued for Moscow residents

On April 7, the Russian capital continues to remain in the icy embrace of a cyclonic vortex, which doesn't release the region, maintaining cloudy weather with temperatures around zero and heavy snowfalls.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this information was provided by the leading specialist of the "Phobos" weather center, Mikhail Leus.
The expert warned residents of the metropolis about the extremely dangerous situation on roads and sidewalks, where strong slipperiness has formed, and in some areas, ice is observed.
- Air temperature ranges from minus one to plus one, in the region from minus two to plus three. The wind is northeastern at 4-9 meters per second. Atmospheric pressure will slightly rise and will be 742 millimeters of mercury, which is below normal, - Leus stated.
According to the meteorologist's forecast for Tuesday, residents of the capital can expect periodic wet snow, continued ice, and temperatures from zero to plus two degrees, as reported in his Telegram channel.
Due to extreme weather conditions, a storm warning was issued in Moscow.
Specialists from the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia additionally reported that in the Central District of the country, the height of snow drifts could reach 20 centimeters. Meanwhile, the average temperature is expected to be approximately two to four degrees below the climate norm for this time of year.
