Elon Musk has become a trillionaire again
The net worth of Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has once again surpassed the $1 trillion mark.
As reported by Forbes, a surge in share prices of his companies SpaceX and Tesla immediately after the stock market opened restored the tech mogul's trillionaire status, which he first achieved in June of this year.
On Monday, Musk's net worth reached $1 trillion, which is $30.6 billion more than at the close of trading last Friday. The net worth of Amazon head Jeff Bezos stands at $371.5 billion.
Musk is the largest shareholder of SpaceX, holding the positions of board chairman, CEO, and chief technology officer of the company. In February, he merged xAI and SpaceX. The combined market capitalization of the merged companies, according to media reports, amounted to $1.25 trillion.
The businessman became the first trillionaire in history on June 12 — following the IPO of SpaceX — and held the status for nearly two weeks.
