Elon Musk became the first person in history with a fortune of 700 billion dollars

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has become the first person in world history to possess a fortune exceeding $700 billion, reports BAKU.WS with reference to Forbes magazine.

Musk's fortune grew sharply after the Delaware Supreme Court overturned a lower court decision that had invalidated his Tesla stock options compensation package, which now amounts to $139 billion.

Forbes clarifies: after the successful reversal of this court decision, Musk's total fortune reached a record $749 billion.

Previously, the publication had already named Musk as the first person whose wealth exceeded $600 billion, after his company SpaceX was valued at more than $800 billion thanks to a public stock offering.
