Donald Trump spoke about negotiations with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia

US President Donald Trump touched on the topic of negotiations with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the White House.
He spoke about this at a press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"They (the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia) started from two sides in the Oval Office - so far apart that I couldn't even imagine it was possible to be that far apart. And while we were together for a whole hour, they moved closer and closer, and by the end of the conversation, we all hugged," Trump noted.
Recall that in Washington on August 8, the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, in the presence of the US President, signed a joint declaration. In addition, the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia initialed an Agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations.
