Donald Trump: It's time for Zelensky to get down to business
American leader Donald Trump expressed confidence that the Russian Federation is striving to resolve the situation in Ukraine, and Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelensky should also actively engage in this process.
This was reported by Bloomberg.
"Indeed, it's time for Zelensky to get to work, since Russia wants to reach an agreement," he noted. "The Ukrainian president needs to start working, otherwise he risks missing a great opportunity."
The next round of negotiations involving representatives of Russia, the United States, and Ukraine is scheduled for February 17-18. Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky has been appointed as head of the Russian delegation, as announced by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
The previous round of trilateral consultations took place on February 4-5 in Abu Dhabi, where the Russian negotiating team was headed by the chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (GRU) Igor Kostyukov.
