Decapitated body of the CEO of a salt mining company found in Russia

The CEO of the potassium and magnesium salt mining company "K-Potash Service" was found dead under a bridge in the Kaliningrad region. This is reported by Life, citing the SHOT Telegram channel.

According to their information, the decapitated body of Alexey S. was discovered yesterday morning near the village of Solnechnoye. A tow rope was lying next to him. The circumstances of the incident are unknown.

The man had been heading the company "K-Potash Service" since October 2022. According to SHOT, in 2024 the company was involved in a scandal due to the delayed launch of a potash mine in the village of Nivenskoye. At that time, company representatives stated that design and survey work was being conducted and equipment was being replaced.

The mine was supposed to have started operating back in 2021, but the launch was hindered by protests from local residents.
