Court Scandal with Macron's Wife: Accused Demand Exposure of Her Gender Secret
The defendants in the cyberbullying case of French leader Emmanuel Macron's spouse Brigitte are demanding in court to prove her gender, reports BAKU.WS citing radio station Franceinfo.
One of the defendants in the Brigitte Macron case expressed confidence that to end the rumors, it would be sufficient to provide the public with a few childhood photos or images during the pregnancy of the current head of state's wife.
"A few photos of her pregnant, a few photos from childhood, and the case would be closed," said 49-year-old IT specialist Jerome A.
Additionally, several defendants expressed surprise at the very fact of being held criminally liable, citing that their social media accounts have only dozens of followers.
The authors of the article also indicated that the citizens who found themselves in the dock justify their publications about Brigitte Macron on social media with the right to "freedom of speech," believing they were simply sharing "opinions."
Recall that among the defendants is writer Aurélien Poirson-Atlan, known by the pseudonym "Zoé Sagan," as well as Amandine Roy, on whose YouTube channel journalist Natacha Rey spoke about Brigitte Macron's gender.
