The Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region remains the most difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Alexander Syrsky in his Telegram channel.

"I continue to work in the most difficult direction (...) in particular, directly in the area of the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd agglomeration... The enemy does not stop attempting to break through to residential buildings, apartment buildings and gain a foothold there to expand the control zone. Taking this into account, we have developed a set of measures to counter the enemy's plans," he wrote.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian army emphasized that the AFU units continue to inflict "significant losses on the enemy both in manpower and equipment, localizing its movements."

"Our commanders act with mandatory consideration of the need to preserve the life and health of subordinate personnel," Syrsky added.
