American company OpenAI signed a contract with the US Department of Defense for $200 million to create a prototype artificial intelligence system designed to solve national security tasks.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Gazeta.ru, this is stated in the company's official blog.
According to the terms of the agreement, OpenAI will develop advanced AI tools applicable both in combat conditions and in administrative and analytical structures of the defense department. The work is expected to be completed by July 2026.
