Bruce Willis's family suffering from dementia will donate his brain to science
The family of Hollywood actor Bruce Willis after his death intends to donate his brain for scientific research, his wife Emma Heming-Willis told journalists.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to foreign media, three years ago doctors diagnosed the artist with frontotemporal dementia. Willis has lost the ability to speak, often doesn't recognize his loved ones, and can no longer read or hold a conversation.
In an interview with The WP Times, Emma admitted that the decision was not easy for her. However, she understands that studying the brain can help in developing treatment methods for frontotemporal dementia.
She also noted that the actor's relatives are preparing for a possible tragic outcome and are trying to settle all organizational issues in advance.
