Attention to those wishing to perform Hajj! Saudi Arabia introduces new requirements

Saudi Arabia will ban entry to Mecca from Wednesday for foreigners who do not have a work permit, a document confirming residence in Mecca, or a valid Hajj visa.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the country's Ministry of Interior.
In a statement distributed by Al-Ikhbariya TV channel, it is indicated that the ban will not apply only to persons who have a work permit, registration for residence in Mecca, or a valid permit to perform Hajj.
The Ministry of Interior stated that with this decision they aim to regulate entry and exit to Mecca, ensure that only officially authorized persons are present in the city, and guarantee the safety of pilgrims.
On the other hand, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj urged those wishing to make the pilgrimage to be cautious about fake announcements and fraudulent offers. It is noted that visiting Hajj is only possible when applying through official channels.
The Ministry also reported that Hajj visas are issued only by authorized bodies, and this process is carried out in coordination with official representatives in 80 countries.
