General Majid ibn al-Reza has been appointed as acting Minister of Defense of Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Fars agency, this was announced by a representative of the presidential office.
"General Majid ibn al-Reza has been appointed as acting Minister of Defense," the statement said.
On February 28, the head of Iran's Ministry of Defense, Aziz Nasirzadeh, was killed as a result of Israeli and US strikes.
