It is reported that Elnur Aydin oglu Mirismayilzade, a resident of Jalilabad district who was participating in combat operations as part of the Russian armed forces, died in battle. He fought in the "North-Akhmat" special forces regiment under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It also became known about the disappearance of two other Azerbaijanis who fought on Russia's side. One of them - Sumgayit resident Bahlul Zulfugar oglu Abbasov - went missing after fighting near the settlement of Chasov Yar in Ukraine. Nothing has been known about his fate for a long time.
Another of our compatriots - Anar Nurmammed oglu Jabbarov, a resident of Khanbulan village in Lankaran district - has been listed as missing for about four months.
Recall that earlier it was reported about the death of another Azerbaijani in the Russian-Ukrainian war - Rafig Aydin oglu Mammadov, a resident of Khachmaz district.
