Ambassador to Russia: Israel does not see a possibility of resolving the conflict with Iran
World 22

It's still too early to talk about resolving the Israel-Iran conflict through non-military means.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, this was stated at a briefing by the ambassador of the Jewish state to the Russian Federation, Simona Halperin.

The diplomat was asked what role Russia could play in resolving Israel's conflict with Iran.

"The first priority at the moment is to destroy the desire, capability, intentions. After we destroy them, we will see how to properly move forward," the ambassador noted.

Halperin added that it is still "too early to think about who, when and how" will participate in resolving the conflict.

The Israeli side does not aim to change the regime in the Islamic republic through its actions against Iran. "There is no goal to change [the regime in Iran]," the head of the Israeli diplomatic mission noted in response to the relevant question. "This is not one of the operation's objectives."
