About 40 thousand foreign tourists are stranded in Israel as a result of the closure of airspace.

It is noted that the department has taken measures to provide information to tourists, and also provides support with providing them with accommodation and options to leave the country.

"We are also trying to help tourists by offering them currently available options to leave Israel through land border crossings through Jordan and Egypt, which remain open," emphasized a representative of the Ministry of Tourism.
