A vessel of a Turkish company was subjected to a missile strike by the Russian Federation in the port of Odessa
Cargo ship of a Turkish company was hit by a Russian missile strike in the port of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region of Ukraine.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Turkish media, the vessel CENK RORO, which was transporting cargo vehicles, came under attack.
According to preliminary data, one person was injured. There is no information about possible leakage or air pollution by chemical substances.
The ship caught fire during an air raid alert that lasted from 17:21 to 18:22. During this period, at least four explosions were heard in Odesa. The Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the threat of ballistic weapons from the south, and then about two high-speed targets heading to Chornomorsk.
As reported to the Eastern European bureau of Report by the Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, Matlab Najafov, up to ten units of motor vehicles registered in Azerbaijan could have been damaged during the strike.
