An earthquake occurred in the Simav district of Turkey's Kütahya province, according to a report on the website of Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
Tremors with a magnitude of 5.4 were recorded at 12:59 local time. The epicenter was at a depth of 8.46 km.
The earthquake was felt in Istanbul and Izmir.
